Spring does not officially begin
until a couple of weeks from now on March
19. But I can already feel that shift - can
you? The hillsides are so green from the
rain and the yellow daffodils and clover
add a touch of sunshine even when it is
cloudy.
This weekend at Fattoria e Mare
Italian Restaurant, my classy jazz trio is
going to play live music with the freshness
and lightness of the season. Our setlist
will include some upbeat favorites from
Duke Ellington, Henry Mancini, and Antonio
Carlos Jobim as well as this Stan Getz
style version of Rodgers and
Hammerstein's It Might As Well Be
Spring(sans vocalist).
