light up your soul

Seasons Greetings and New Moon Blessings, friend!

Under the influence of this new moon, I find myself compelled to slow down and look within. My meditation seat in front of my alter is a welcomed respite from the holiday hustle at this time of year.

In the stillness of meditation, I have noticed that I have some persistent complaints - some habits that I have not been able to change, some discontent, some disappointments in myself - that I push down with busyness or indulging.

So, I journeyed to my compassionate helping spirits with the sincere intention to learn how to allow my soul to be in the driver's seat of my life each day to manifest my highest good, my most fulfilling life.

The message from the spirits was clear and helpful.

Surrender

Let go of the worries and petty concerns of my ego. Loosen the grip of my will. Surrender to Spirit, and be present to the miracles that manifest in my life.

Open My Heart

Take some deep breaths as I move my attention from my mind to my heart. Feel my heart space soften and expand. Listen with my heart to hear my soul's desires and guidance from Spirit.

Remember Who I Am As A Soul

I am a spiritual being having an earthly experience. When I remember who I am as a soul or recall moving transcendent experiences, I see my daily life from a higher perspective. Problems seem smaller, and I feel more relaxed and empowered.

The upcoming Winter Solstice is a powerful transition time when our sacred ceremonies and celebrations can have a profound transformative affect. With the days growing gradually longer again, the return of the Sun and light into our lives offers us a fresh start.

Gathering together in sacred circle to honor the Winter Solstice, we open our eyes and heart to our inner light. We realign with our own soul and reconnect with Spirit. This is a powerful time to seed our intentions for the coming year.

Join us as we meditate and journey, sing and celebrate at the Winter Solstice Ceremony ~ Native Flute Meditation and Shamanic Journey on ZOOM coming up on Thursday, December 21, 2023 from 5:00-6:30 p.m.

Suggested donation of $25-$50 accepted in the spirit of sacred reciprocity.

A portion of your gift benefits the Lakota People’s Law Project which partners with Native communities to protect sacred lands, safeguard human rights, promote sustainability, reunite indigenous families, and much more.

Gather in sacred circle to honor the Winter Solstice, to embrace the stillness of the longest night and to welcome the returning light with singing, soul-searching and celebration.

Let go of everyday concerns and rest in peaceful meditation to the soothing sounds of Native American Flute music played live.

Journey with the drum to the unseen realms to connect with compassionate guardian spirits for guidance and healing through direct revelation.

With fewer ZOOM events offered this past year, I am really missing our extended community from near and far. So, I am excited to reconnect with you to celebrate the solstice together!

Hugs and blessings,

Sonya
