Join me at Moss Beach Distillery for Sunset Sax & Guitar during Happy Hour once again this Wednesday, February 22, 2023 from 5-7 p.m. 

This week, Brazilian guitarist Ricardo Peixoto will be coming over from Oakland for an evening of Latin jazz. The bossa novas of Brazilian composer Antonio Carlos Jobim are so romantic! As a native of Rio de Janeiro, Ricardo plays them better than anyone in the Bay Area. Perfect soundtrack for enjoying a spectacular sunset over the ocean and a glass of wine.
 
To get in the mood, you may enjoy watching this 9-minute videofeaturing Antonio Carlos Jobim on the NBC Today Show back in 1986. Antonio takes us on a tour of Rio and talks about the beauty and inspiration of the place. He ends the show with a live concert including a medley of some of his biggest hits like "Wave" and "The Girl From Ipanema."
