May this message find you to be safe and warm amidst the tumultuous winter weather in the northern hemisphere. Northern California has been making the news across the country with our torrential downpours and hurricane-force wind gusts. In my coastside community, the biggest concerns are flooding and gigantic trees falling on houses, not to mention our limited roadways becoming impassable due to sinkholes and huge fallen boulders. 

All of this drama of Mother Nature is either scary or exciting depending on your perspective. Once we are safe and able to put aside the inconveniences and disruptions to our daily lives, we have an opportunity to be in awe of the immense power of our planet and the forces of nature. We are able to put into perspective just how small our many concerns really are in the greater scheme of things.

Join our sacred circle on this first new moon of the year to celebrate the start of the lunar calendar for 2023, which the elements are showing us is an especially powerful new beginning!
