getting it together

Hi there, friend!

Monday, I had a birthday. I turned Almost 60. Suddenly, I realize that I have a limited time to “get it together” before I reached that milestone age. For me, that means handling any lingering unfinished business on my To Do list. It means reviewing my daily habits to be sure that I am living in complete integrity with my own soul and my compassionate helping spirits. It means doing what I need to do physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually to be free of regrets and complaints as I enter my elder years.

Yes, I know that age is just a number. And sometimes, I need an external marker to help me get motivated to actually do what I have been yearning to do anyway, forgetting that I do have a limited time on this earth at least in this incarnation.

Of course, I journeyed to my compassionate helping spirits to ask where to best focus my attention and concentrate my actions as I enter my 6th decade of life. The message was a surprise for me, as it often is. Spirit said “Have fun and play! Enjoy your life!”

Have fun? How do we even do that these days? I notice that the challenges of the past 2 years have weighed me down. I have been taking everything so seriously! I wonder - What can I let go of that will lighten my load and provide space for me to EnJoy my life?

The full moon signifies completion. It is an ideal time for letting go of what we no longer need and for putting the past behind us. A very powerful way to do that is together with others in sacred ceremony.

I invite you to join our sacred circle for the Full Moon Ceremony ~ Native Flute Meditation and Drum Journey on ZOOM coming up onMonday, January 17, 2022 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Donations accepted in the spirit of sacred reciprocity. Your gift will be shared with the Lakota People’s Law Project to assist indigenous communities.

Gather in virtual Sacred Circle as the reflected light of the full moon illuminates our inner world so that we may release that which no longer serves us.

Let go of everyday concerns and rest in peaceful meditation to the soothing sounds of Native American Flute music played live.

Journey with the drum to the unseen realms to connect with compassionate guardian spirits for healing and guidance through direct revelation.

To protect our sacred space, only those who have signed up will be admitted.

May we remember to be present to the beauty and joy in our everyday lives...and to have fun!

Hugs and blessings,

Sonya
