the power of gratitude

Hello friend,

“In daily life we must see that it is not happiness that makes us grateful, but gratefulness that makes us happy.” ~ Brother David Steindl-Rast, Benedictine monk

Every day, I walk along the coastal bluff trail near my home saying prayers of gratitude. I find this to be the easiest and most transformative daily spiritual practice. At bedtime each night, my sweetheart and I also make a point to share something that we appreciate about one another. Highly recommended! 😉

Consciously being thankful for even the smallest blessings in our life helps shield us from negativity, helps eliminate stress, helps us heal from traumatic experiences, helps us sleep better, helps boost our self-esteem, improves our relationships, and makes us a naturally happier person. Being grateful not only heals our mind, body and spirit - it ultimately attracts more things to be grateful for! This is the power of gratitude.

Sometimes, we find it difficult to muster an attitude of gratitude. Delve deeper and we usually find that some kind of disappointment or resentment is in the way. In shamanism, we recognize that during the full moon is the time to release negative energies to create space for something more empowering. Together on the upcoming full moon, we will release any lingering resentments, fill our hearts with gratitude, and be uplifted by our spiritual community.

Join our sacred circle for the Gratitude Ceremony ~ Native Flute Meditation and Drum Journey on ZOOM on Friday, November 19, 2021 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Note: Due to shipping delays, our indoor venue is still awaiting the new heating system. So once again, we meet virtually instead of in-person as planned.

Gather in virtual sacred circle during the full moon to release that which no longer serves us and to elevate our vibration by cultivating gratitude

Let go of everyday concerns and rest in peaceful meditation to the soothing sounds of Native American Flute music played live.

Journey with the drum to the unseen realms to connect with compassionate guardian spirits for guidance and healing through direct revelation.

To protect our sacred space, only those who have signed up will be admitted.

Save the Date! Our Winter Solstice Ceremony ~ Native Flute Meditation and Drum Journey is coming up on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. We plan to meet in-person at Half Moon Bay Odd Fellows Hall. Tickets go on sale November 19.
