power of song

Hi there, friend!

For ancient indigenous people all over the world, music was not merely entertainment. Native children learned the creation stories of their culture and tribal history by memorizing songs. Even practical knowledge needed for survival was passed down generation to generation through the oral tradition of music.

Songs were considered gifts from Spirit to be used to produce specific results such as healing, bringing rain, or success in battle. They were powerful tools that helped to change the nature of people’s inner and outer worlds. Songs gave wings to prayers.

The power of music is in our DNA. We, too, can sing a new reality into existence with sincerity and intention. Let’s gather together in sacred circle during the new moon to sing a new song for humanity. Through joyful music and ceremony, we will energetically seed intentions to make the world a more beautiful place for ourselves, our families and our communities.

If you have not already registered, I invite you to join us for the New Moon Ceremony ~ Native Flute Meditation and Drum Journey on ZOOM this Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Donations accepted in the spirit of sacred reciprocity.

Gather in virtual Sacred Circle at dusk, when the veils are thinnest, to embrace the new moon with reflection, renewal and seeding new intentions.

Let go of everyday concerns and rest in peaceful meditation to the soothing sounds of Native American Flute music played live.

Journey with the drum to the unseen realms to connect with compassionate guardian spirits for guidance and healing through direct revelation.

To protect our sacred space, only those who have signed up will be admitted.

Music is the language of Spirit. Let your heart sing!

Hugs and blessings,

Sonya
