Hello, friend!
Our Full Moon Ceremony last
weekend was so rich with ideas to consider
in establishing a consistent spiritual
practice. The many positive benefits that
we can expect are a big motivation. Who
doesn’t want to feel more peaceful,
less stressed, healthier, more joyful, more
present, and more resilient in times of
turmoil?
I shared about the three main
practices of Shamanism - 1) Journeying to
compassionate helping spirits in other
realms for guidance and healing, 2)
performing ceremonies to release, cleanse,
transition, seed intentions and celebrate,
and 3) connecting with the spirit in
everything, especially in
Nature.
Spiritual practices do not have to
be hard or complicated. We spoke about
meditation walks, gratitude prayers,
breathing mindfully, being in nature,
reading spiritual books, keeping a journal,
tuning out the news, talking less, and
connecting with a spiritual community, to
name a few ideas. Which of these light up
for you? Then, we journeyed to our
compassionate helping spirits for guidance
as to which spiritual practices might be
most powerful for each of us at this time.
Enlightening!
