Congratulations to Everett
Medlin, winner of my Music Student Raffle
Grand Prize for Summer Session 2018.
Throughout the 12-week session, students earn
raffle tickets for each completed and signed
Practice Log. Raffle Winner chooses a
Play-Along Book with CD. Everett picked the
challenging Harry Potter Instrumental Solos
book. He looks forward to increasing his
skills so that he can play this exciting
music!
Eleven-year-old Everett
has been studying clarinet for nearly a year,
and he has just entered Cunha Intermediate
School in Half Moon Bay, California as a
sixth grader. In addition to his love of
music, he is also a bit of a sports fan.
Everett often wears his Golden State Warriors
cap to his music lessons.
Looking forward to another

makers of all ages and experience

and Flashdance, to name a few. Enjoy free

"Sunset Sax & Guitar" series will feature
my guest, Brazilian guitarist Ricardo Peixoto
of Oakland. Every time we play together,
Ricardo schools me on how to properly play
Bossa Nova. And I welcome his knowledgeable
perspective!
