I also believe that "soul" is what a gifted musician brings to the music, regardless of the musical genre. And variety is what keeps life interesting!

Some listeners were quite surprised recently to hear me jammin' on Country Rock tunes with The Little Wheels Band at an outdoor concert in Half Moon Bay, California. One friend exclaimed as I jumped onstage to blow my first solo, "This doesn't sound like your kind of music!" Amazingly, I felt right at home!
