Hello Music Lover!

This month I am celebrating the 20th ANNIVERSARY of my career as a full time professional musician!

Over the years I have been just idealistic and stubborn enough to think that I should be able to make my living doing what I love -- playing the SAXOPHONE of all things!  It has been no walk in the park.  That's for sure.  But then if it was easy, everyone would be doin' it!  Right?

How did I do it, you ask?  My private students often hear me say:
"Consistency over time produces results."

By all appearances,  I have lived by my own advice.  The truth is that I too have stumbled many times in the pursuit of my goals.  Some days I feel tormented by frustration, fear and doubt.  At those times I turn to my spirituality and many other tools of survival, including the poster on the wall of my music studio about Perserverance:

"Never give up,
for that is the place and the time
that the tide will turn."

Other days I am filled with joy and satisfaction.  Those moments make it all worthwhile. Unquestionably, the real key to living the life I love has been the strong support of the wonderful people in my world.  My heart is filled with appreciation and gratitude:

To my family ~ for raising me to believe that I can do anything and loving me even when I do just that!
To my loved one ~ for putting up with me DAILY and still being in awe of my talent.
To my friends ~ for sticking by me through the ups and downs, and providing much needed diversion.
To my listeners ~ for never letting me forget that my music moves you.
To my fellow musicians ~ for being such gifted playmates. I salute YOU, for your life devotion to music.

Amazingly, my website turns out to be the perfect tribute to my career; a grand summary of my musical adventures and accomplishments to date.  (Thanks again to my good friend and webmaster, Alan Lee!)

In celebration of this momentous occasion, I dug through my video archives to unearth four exciting LIVE PERFORMANCE VIDEOS for you to enjoy.  You won't want to miss seeing the hot musicians that played with me in LA!  Make a bowl of popcorn and get ready for the show, then visit my website by clicking this link:

And now the question is:  What musical adventures will the NEXT 20 years bring?  Let's start with one day at a time.....
