Hello music lover!

That spooky time of year is upon us.  My little Coastside community near Half Moon Bay in northern California is simmering down now that the annual Pumpkin Festival has drawn to a close -- an event which attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors!

Us locals tend to go away for the weekend or get enough groceries and DVDs to keep us entertained inside our own homes.  What a good time to add some more fun stuff to my website!

This month you'll find two new faces on the "Hall of Fame" page -- my all-time favorite clarinet player, Eddie Daniels, and my good friend, Pete Douglas, the founder of the ultimate performance venue for jazz called the Bach Dancing & Dynamite Society.  Look for their stories by going to www.SonyaJason.com, then click "Hall of Fame", and scroll down to find their names.

Meanwhile, the music business seems to be hotter than ever.  Three new private students enrolled this month, and I've got sixteen live performances on the Gig Schedule for October!

This week I'm playing jazz on the Coastside night and day.  For those of you who prefer your live music with a freshly brewed beer and a chance to kick up your heels:
